During your stay with us we can arrange bespoke cycling tours, we've joined with David Boyle the Area Coordinator for British Cycling who can show you around the stunning Rossendale and Ribble valleys. If you would like to book a tour please contact us in advance.
We highly recommend the Panoptican Tour, taking in The Haslingden Halo, The Atom and The Singing Ringing Tree, or even Colourfields in Blackburn, if you can manage that far!
The famous Mary Towneley Loop passes directly through Rossendale and offers 47 miles of bridleway, perfect for cyclists who enjoy testing their endurance.
Lee Quarry is Rossendale’s first purpose built mountain bike venue, leading on to Cragg Quarry for the ultimate trail.

A two-night stay at Rossendale Holiday Cottages, packed with cycling and sight seeing around the Rossendale Valley.
Open to all levels, from complete beginners to more advanced cyclists. Our instructor can tailor his routes to your needs. There will be 3 cycling routes over the weekend, led by NSIQ Cycling tutor and British Cycling ride leader, David Boyle.
The cycling tours will be led in small groups, giving you a chance to meet new people and ensure you have the full attention of our instructor.
Explore local, must-see landmarks, such as the ‘Singing Ringing Tree’ and the ‘Halo’. Afterwards, unwind by the campfire and put your feet up in our beautiful cottages.
For those wishing to explore a little further, our 15-acre site is conveniently located within the picturesque Rossendale valley. During free time, there is an abundance of walking trails to discover.
Make sure to bring cycling helmets, gloves etc. Please contact in advance if you need to borrow a bike or any equipment.
