A place to unwind.

We originally opened in 2011 with horse stables and a DIY livery yard under the name of Water Equestrian Centre.

In 2014, we made a big change to the site, and built three luxury holiday cottages - Alder, Willow and Oak. We were astounded by their immediate popularity, as guests flocked to experience a stay in the Rossendale Valley.

Due to the high demand of our original cottages, in 2015, we converted a few of our horse stables into ensuite bedrooms - Rose and Blossom. (Due to the recent expansion of the site, Blossom was transformed in to a laundry room.)

In 2016, we said goodbye to the rest of our stables, and converted them in to a further three cottages. Barn - a two bedroom family cottage opened in August 2016, Paddock - a one bedroom cottage and Stable - an open plan studio cottage opened in May 2017. (The stables will be relocated next to the menage).

Later in 2016, the site welcomed our very first 'glamping pod', Heron. A very different style of accommodation to our cottages, and a completely unique experience. Heron was closely followed by three other pods - Drake (the same size as Heron), and two smaller pods - Robin and Cygnet (finished in 2017). The pods are loved by all of our guests, especially those who are partial to the outdoors. They offer the chance to experience 'camping', without the cold nights and aching bones after sleeping on the floor!

Onsite, guests have free use of our 'island', featuring a fire pit and BBQ area, perfect for summer evenings with loved ones. We have 15 acres of land, perfect for smaller events and easy access to local walking routes.

Our site also plays host to an abundance of themed weekends; such as yoga retreats and cycling weekends. We are always open to suggestions if guests would like to host their own events. Keep checking our website for upcoming events and weekend retreats!
